The Former President of the United States, Bill Clinton, admitted that some of the claims Trump supporters have against the media may well be valid. Specifically, during an interview with author James Patterson on a segment of “CBS Sunday Morning,” a correspondent named Mo Rocca asked Clinton about Trump supporters claiming that Trump doesn’t get the same treatment that Barak Obama got when he was President. Clinton essentially admits that the press liked that Obama was “African-American.”
ROCCA: You hear from Trump supporters who say, “You know, the press slobbered all over President Obama. He could do no wrong. And now this guy can do no right. What gives?” That there’s a kind of whiplash.
CLINTON: Well, they did treat him differently than other Democrats and Republicans because they –
CLINTON: It was the political press. You know, I don’t know. They liked him, and they liked having the first African American president – and he was a good president, I think.
At least he’s finally telling the truth.
