NBC Reporter Says Trump Signaling to Hitler, Nazis
Frank Figliuzzi, a previous FBI assistant director for counterintelligence and current NBC News op-ed contributor, claims that President Trump is signaling to Hitler. If that doesn’t make much sense, stick around, things get worse.
There’s no doubt that the media is running rampant with White House conspiracy theories on both sides, however, Figliuzzi’s latest claims might top them all. During an MSNBC segment with host Brian Williams, Figliuzzi said that Trump’s flying of half-staff flags to honor those lost in the mass shootings was secretly a symbol of ‘Heil Hitler.’
Here’s his exact quote:
“The president’s either getting really good advice and rejecting it, or he’s getting really bad advice,” he said. “We have to understand the adversary and the threat we’re dealing with, and if we don’t understand how they think we’ll never understand how to counter them, so it’s the little things and the language and messaging that matters.
“The president says that we will fly our flags at half-mast until August 8, that’s 8/8. Now I’m not going to imply that he did this deliberately, but I am using it as an example of the ignorance of the adversary that’s being demonstrated by the White House,” Figliuzzi continued. “The numbers 8/8 are very significant in the neo-Nazi and the white supremacy movement. Why? Because the letter ‘H’ is the eighth letter of the alphabet, and to them, the numbers 8/8 stand for ‘Heil Hitler.”
“So we’re going to be raising the flag back up at dusk on 8/8. No one’s thinking about this. No one’s giving the advice, or he’s rejecting the advice,” he added.
And you can watch for yourself.

President Trump condemned the actions of both shooters over the weekend and noted his condemnation for white supremacists. The Dayton, Ohio shooter is a registered democrat, according to multiple sources. The El Paso shooter’s manifesto claimed he leaned Republican, but held disdain for both parties.
No matter what side of the aisle you exist on, Figliuzzi’s comments are insanely irresponsible and that of fantasy. But the fact is, there’s a herd of people who’ve been indoctrinated to such extremism that they probably believe such lunacy.
RealClearPolitics ran a story regarding Figliuzzi’s sentiments as if they were valid. The headline, MSNBC Contributor Frank Figliuzzi Discovers Hidden Message In White House Statement, implies that the event actually happened. In other words, mainstream media irresponsibly gives airtime to complete insanity.
With the 2020 election upon us, rest assured, this media rhetoric is likely to get worse, given that we have a new low bar.
