Iranian Government Burns American Flag ‘The body of this man Trump will turn to dust…’
Iran is handling President Trump’s cancellation of the Iran Deal and the reinstated sanctions just as you might have predicted they would: with the grace and class of a scorned teenage girl.
Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei defiantly said of Trump, “You cannot do a damn thing!” Apparently, Khamenei missed the memo that Trump did, in fact, do something when he canned their billion dollar deal. Unless of course, Khamenei assumes the deep state will rescue him. And really, who knows? These days, nothing would surprise us.
Khamenei got a lot harsher with his sentiments regarding Trump in a statement circulated by Iranian state media.
“The body of this man Trump will turn to dust and his corpse will be fed on by snakes and insects, while the Islamic Republic continues to stand,” Khamenei said.
He categorized Trump’s actions as, “ugly and petty behavior.”
Khamenei likely intended the statement to be an indictment of the Iran deal termination, but hey, maybe he follows Trump on Twitter.
Iran’s defense minister, Amir Hatami, also seemed rather bitter and scorned when he sent some veiled threats towards Israel, saying, “With attention to the defensive power of our country, we are in a position in which Islamic Iran cannot be militarily threatened by any foreign power.”
During an Iranian Parliment session, MP’s burned the American flag. Roger Goodell likely would have advised they simply kneel down as a way to show ultimate disrespect, however, it seems they have their own gig when it comes disrespect-strategy.
This just wreaks of a country desperate to make an appearance of chaos hoping that liberals in the United States will be righted in saying that “Trump is starting a war.”
The fact is, Trump hasn’t started a war, he’s righted a wrong.
The United States should not help fund, nor work respectfully, with any country that participates in acts of terrorism and egregious human rights violations that are well-documented.
Keep in mind, liberals such as Chuck Schumer have stated their disdain and opposition to the Iran Deal in the past.
Better to keep U.S. sanctions in place, strengthen them, enforce secondary sanctions on other nations, and pursue the hard-trodden path of diplomacy once more, difficult as it may be.
Democrats and their stances tend to blow with the winds depending on whether or not it supports a Trump initiative. In other words, these current Democratic elites work tirelessly against the good of America.
