Kevin Spacey Post Absurd Video After Being Charged With Sexual Assault
Kevin Spacey posted an absurd, odd, bizarre video of himself this afternoon shortly after being charged with felony sexual assault. The video, posted under his former Frank Underwood character from Netflix’s House Of Cards, seems to imply he’s innocent.
Spacey, that is, not Underwood. Or something like that.
According to The Boston Globe, Spacey will be arraigned and charged with indecent assault and battery on Jan. 7, 2019, at Nantucket District Court.
But the video may turn into the more compelling part of it all.
“I know what you want,” Spacey says during the video. “Oh sure, they may have tried to separate us, but what we have is too strong, it’s too powerful and after all, we shared everything, you and I. I told you my deepest, darkest secrets. I showed you exactly what people are capable of. I shocked you with my honesty, but mostly I challenged you and made you think. And you trusted me even though you knew you shouldn’t. So we’re not done, no matter what anyone says. And besides, I know what you want: You want me back.”
Reactions were, of course, exactly what you’d think them to be. The actor posted the video under his Twitter account. The post has been live for 9 hours (most of this time we must assume Spacey has ignored furious calls from his attorney).
