NYPD Officers Poisoned With Bleach at Manhattan Shake Shack

Aggressions against police officers continue to escalate nationwide amide riots regarding police shootings and Democrat calls for local department defundings. An investigation is now open following an alleged poisoning incident involving three New York City Police Department (NYPD) officers. The incident occurred at a Lower Manhattan Shake Shack.

The officers were working protests in Lower Manhattan when the police department claims the officers were poisoned with bleach after ordering food and beverages from the Shake Shack.

So far, there seem to be no suspects in the crime, but an investigation is ongoing.

“Tonight, three of our fellow officers were intentionally poisoned by one or more workers at the Shake Shack at 200 Broadway in Manhattan,” the Detectives Endowment Association confirmed.

“The contamination was not discovered until the MOS had already ingested a portion of their beverages,” PBA President Pat Lynch said. “They are currently at the hospital receiving treatment and are expected to recover.”

Shake Shack corporate put out a statement saying that they are working alongside police investigators to resolve the matter.

“We are horrified by the reports of police officers injured at our 200 Broadway Shack in Manhattan. We are working with the police in their investigation right now.”

Police Chief Rodney Harrison that the source of the poison did not involve Shake Shack employees as was originally suspected by several media outlets.

Police officers nationwide are on high-alert. The growing divisiveness featured on the nightly news and social media that features police as cold-blooded enemies are taking a toll on police officer safety. It’s already a dangerous job, the current climate certainly makes a bad situation worse.
