Actress Rose McGowan says that Democrats are now in a similar cult to the one she was raised in. Her harsh words, which she stated on a Fox News appearance, are drawing criticism from liberals. McGowan popularized the #metoo movement throughout the country as one of Harvey Weinstein’s first accusers.

McGowan grew up under the Children of God, a cult experience she says “gave me the ability to see the control and the propaganda machine, especially in the U.S., for what it is and how it harms people.” She says these childhood experiences give her a special “superpower” to detect a cult status. She said she will no longer support the Democratic party, but that doesn’t mean she’s a conservative. She’ll be avoiding both parties for different reasons.

“I’m not conservative in my beliefs,” McGowan told Fox News contributor Tammy Bruce. “I believe in different personal freedoms than maybe people watching this. But I can still be your friend, I can still be your ally, and I can still want the best for you.”

“If you are serving a master that is not serving you, you are in a cult.” She said.

“I am not here to make people feel bad about their political choices, but I am here to say that you might be in a cult too, if you don’t know the signs,” said McGowan.

“And I do believe Democrats most especially are in a deep cult that they really don’t know about and aren’t really aware of.”

McGowan also went on to say that Republicans and Democrats are more aligned that we understand.

“They’re against changing the world for the better and they’re for keeping a system in place that is for so few people and benefits so few,” she said of the Dems. “But they masquerade as the helpers.”

That final statement really nails it. Its an unfortunate time that more people can’t see that political powers on both sides funnel its people into a washing machine of divide. And worse more, its an endless cycle because it amounts to mainstream media profits and further empowered politicians.
