The largest ticket-sales company in the world wants to sync up with our healthcare plans to verify COVID-19 vaccine statuses. Ticketmaster is looking into ways to integrate its ticket sales system with COVID-19 vaccine verification processes. This is the latest way companies are likely to continue the effort of slowing down the spread of deadly COVID-19.
Under the concept, if you want to go see Wu Tang Clan, the system will flag you if you aren’t vaccine compliant and you’ll be denied the sale. Ticketmaster believes this strategy would help mitigate the spread of COVID. If they can sync up with third party healthcare providers, they’ll be able to accomplish this feat. Of course, Ticketmaster is often the source of disgruntled concert ticket buyers, which is likely to be a focal point as the company moves forward with attempting to integrate our private healthcare data.
This breaking news, first reported by Billboard, comes on the heels of pharmaceutical giant Pfizer claiming they’ve developed a vaccine.
