Pharma Scientist Gunned Down In Malibu While Camping
Pharmaceutical scientist, Tristan Beaudette, was shot dead over the weekend while camping with his children in Malibu. His daughter, (2 and 4), witnessed the horrific crime.
Beaudette was found on Friday bleeding profusely from his chest inside of his tent at Malibu Creek State Park campsite. His daughters were not harmed. Beaudette’s wife was studying alone for an exam back at their Irvine home.
“Tristan was out doing something he adored in life being in the outdoors with his two young girls,” reads the information from a GoFundMe page set up for his family.
His family was about to move to the San Francisco region.
According to KCBS Los Angeles, there are no leads.
“We are working this as a homicide at this point,” Lt. Rodney Moore of the L.A. County Sheriff’s office told The Los Angeles Times. “We are gathering evidence … It will take some time.”
Beaudette worked for Allergan, a pharmaceutical company most popular for its cosmetic drug, Botox.
According to Beaudette’s Linkedin, he had “7 years of industry experience in late stage pharmaceutical drugproduct development.”
