UK Government ‘LOOKING AT ISOLATING FAMILIES’ Due To Coronavirus
One major reason that people should prepare for a pandemic isn’t just because of the illness, but also because world governments tend to cash in on times of trouble. The language deriving from UK officials seems to signal a shift in how they may choose to manage the coronavirus pandemic.
The UK’s chief scientific adviser, Sir Patrick Vallance, told Sky News that further action, including family isolation, may be needed to help contain coronavirus. He said that “more extreme” action was in the works as the UK’s government considers more aggressive options.
The UK has a total of 116 cases. That number doubled from 48 hours ago. A woman with underlying conditions in her 70s, is the lone death coronavirus death in the country.
Sir Patrick said the government is initializing the delay stage of its coronavirus emergency stages. The delay stage focuses on suppressing the apex of the virus spread.
One thing is certain, world governments are growing increasingly comfortable with mandatory quarantines. I suggest you read my mandatory quarantine guide and start preparations.
Sir Patrick calls family isolations “really critical” to the fight against coronavirus.
Sir Patrick told Sky News: “There are then more extreme versions when you think about households isolating as well.
“Self-isolation is possibly usually within houses, it means that you stay in your room, you get things delivered to it and stay there for 14 days.
“Household isolation would mean the household – that’s obviously an more extreme move.
“Again, we’re modelling that we’re looking at that in terms of what the options might be.”
